I really have never understood blogs to be perfectly honest. Something about them seems to allude me. Though I can grasp the concept of having an online journal blogs somehow seem different to me and I can never quite understand how particular blogs can manage to obtain so much attention. Though I have had a blog before it decided to keel over, partly due to my neglectfulness and partly due to being uninspired to post because no one was really reading it. I've decided to give it another stab and try to make any blog I start from now on at least a little popular. Perhaps not even popular but having one reader aside from myself.

This, The Velvet Ballroom, is my blog of dreams that I can recall and other various thoughts. I have always wanted to be able to remember my dreams better and writing them down is the way to go. Not to mention I can pick a topic and simply want to discuss it. I figured using it as the subject as my next blog would be...a unique if not terrible idea.

I beg of you, whoever you may be reader, that you stick around and comment my posts. Constructive criticism would be wonderful if I post any of my work or any other...well...comments. Thanks for the ear...or in this case the eyes.
